Go, Baby, GO!

Oh boy, this past weekend was hoppin'. Sunday was a such a beautiful day, starting for us around 5:15am. We got ourselves ready, fed Maddy and got her dressed for the cold and windy day and we were out the door by 6:30am on the dot. Woo! Mitch has been training so very hard (for months now) to run his first half-marathon. Yes, we left early with plenty of time to get there and allow Mitch to warm up. No, we did not plan for the amount of traffic that over 6,000 people would make. So, thanks to my parents, we found another road into Oakland University's campus (with zero traffic, hooray) and parked. With literally 10 minutes to spare. Poor Mitch. He had to run a half mile just to get registered and start the race. Nevermind the additional 13.1 miles he then had to run! I am very proud of him, accomplishing one of his life goals...in 1:55:05!

Little Miss enjoyed herself quite a bit, despite the cold and wind.

 Sprinting into the finish! Woot!
 Congrats Mitch!
