Bathroom Reno: Mood Board

  1.  Wall finishes include paint from Benjamin Moore and crisp white subway tile. The main wall color will be the green, the white being all the trim and the tan an accent color carried throughout the bathroom.
  2. These are crystal knobs (here) and (here) and an oil-rubbed bronze knob from Hobby Lobby. These would replace the existing hardware.
  3. Porcelain tile is an excellent option for bathrooms as it has a low slip coefficient and it is impermeable to water. Porcelain also comes in a "through" option which means the color is throughout the flooring. No more ugly white chips! This can be found at your local Home Depot or Lowe's stores.
  4. Sconces allow the lighting in the bathroom to look more natural. Ever feel white as a ghost when you look in the mirror? You'll feel a little more alive when soft lighting is beside your face.
  5. These oil-rubbed bronze fixtures are a great combination of modern and old. (Found these over at Lowe's) Love!
  6. This mirror is almost a piece of art bringing a touch of rustic to this transitional bathroom. A mirror is a great place to add a place of interest in your bathroom.
  7. This vanity is simple and understated, but unique in that it has drawers! It's classic white which can be timeless if you're looking for something that won't be dated in five years.
  8. A Target shower curtain brings in our neutral colors and a soft geometric pattern updates the look. Baskets from Crate + Barrel have lids so all that tissue dust doesn't get on your personal belongings. And pretty glass jars hold cotton balls, makeup sponges, etc.
  9. White fixtures are classic and updated. Your bathroom will be so fresh looking you won't want to leave.
